Our multi-media retrospective show features two narrators highlighting the culture, fads, current events and Americana of the Sixties, punctuated with over two-dozen songs performed live by JUST SIXTIES. The show consists of video and audio clips, sing-alongs and trivia quizzes. In addition to performing at outdoor concert venues, libraries and fundraiser events, JUST SIXTIES headlined at the original 1969 Woodstock concert site to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Woodstock! Our tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock festival featured two sets of classic Sixties music. The first set featured the best of Woodstock with songs by Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Joe Cocker, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Arlo Guthrie, Sly and the Family Stone and more. The second set featured the transistor radio hits that were playing on the beach that unforgettable summer. |

Show Introduction The show opens with a three-minute presentation capturing some of the events that helped define the Sixties. Live from My Father's Place! My Father's Place in Roslyn, NY was the premier venue between 1971 and 1987 featuring artists such as Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Charlie Daniels, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty, and so many more. JUST SIXTIES first performed at this iconic venue in 1984, and returned 36 years later on March 1, 2020 to perform our show, "2020: The Sixties Turn 60!"
